When you purchase our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted our pricing, process, terms, and conditions.
CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS
Due to the customized nature of our services, Career Steering cannot offer refunds. All services are bespoke and cannot be resold. Full payment is required upfront.
PROJECT COMPLETION/TIME FRAMES
- Commencing: Projects must commence within 90 days of payment receipt. Otherwise, the payment is forfeited. We monitor capacity and once reached, we may turn potential clients away. Upon purchase, both parties commit to a collaborative effort.
- Delivery Date: Upon the client’s submission of the required materials, Career Steering will communicate a delivery date. Standard turnaround is 15 to 20 business days from the day Rosa E. Vargas receives all data. During high-volume periods, this may extend beyond 4 weeks. Notifications will be made on our website during such times.
- Completion: Career documents must be reviewed by the client within 10 business days of receipt. Any corrections must be conveyed within this period. Absent any feedback, Career Steering reserves the right to consider the work as accepted by the client.
- Delays: Completion is subject to unforeseen circumstances beyond Career Steering’s control, such as acts of God or mechanical failures.
At Career Steering.com, we prioritize client satisfaction:
- Initial Delivery: The client reviews the first draft and provides feedback within 7 to 10 business days.
- First Round of Edits: This includes both conceptual changes and corrections. A 45-minute review call is available at this stage.
- Second Draft Delivery: The revised draft is provided for feedback within 24 to 48 hours.
- Second Round of Edits: Client provided feedback or approval within 7 to 10 business days.
- Final Draft for Quality Review: Edits ae made and delivered to client within 24 to 48 hours. The client reviews the final version for minor corrections. Major changes or new information would require a new project engagement.
- Completed Dossier Delivered: The finalized document set is delivered to the client .
Note: Absence of feedback within the specified period will deem the project complete. Further revisions would require a new engagement.
POLICY ON PROOFREADING THE DRAFT
Career Steering isn’t responsible for errors from client-provided materials or for inaccuracies post-client approval. While we ensure high-quality drafts, clients assume responsibility for final proofing.
All information shared remains confidential. Only essential collaborators, such as trusted assistants or editors, may access the data, and they uphold the same confidentiality standards as Rosa E. Vargas.
RESUME WRITING BEST PRACTICES
Rosa Elizabeth Vargas stays updated with current resume and job search best practices. Clients trust Career Steering’s expertise throughout the resume development process. Feedback from external critique or coaching services, or personal contacts, isn’t grounds for revisions.
While we assist in enhancing your professional representation, we cannot guarantee job placement. Success lies in the client’s hands. We rely on the accuracy of the information you provide.
Clients should have MS Word and basic computer skills to facilitate seamless feedback communication. We work primarily on PCs. However, we do provide RTF files for MAC compatibility and our e-resume/ASCII formats face no cross-compatibility issues.
